Let me start out by congratulating Sung Hyun Park for winning the Indy Women In tech Championship. Park finished regulation play tied with Lizette Salas at 23 under par. When Park birdied the first playoff hole, she had her third victory of the season.
It has been a very strange year for Sung Hyun Park. She is tied for the LPGA lead with Ariya Jutanugarn with three wins this year. The strange part is that she has managed just four top ten finishes. That ranks 21st on tour. Ariya Jutanugarn leads the LPGA with 13 top ten finishes. Park has also missed six cuts in 17 starts this year (35.3%), an extremely high percentage for a player of her caliber. That said, wins are the most important statistic and she certainly knows how to accumulate them.

This week the LPGA travels to Canada for the playing of the CP Women's Open. Sung Hyun Park will be trying to defend the title she won last year, when her final round sixty-four was good enough to win by two strokes over Mirim Lee.
